fat32format is a freeware application which allows Windows systems to format any drives to FAT32; despite the format's limitations, the author posits that even huge drives up to 2 TB (yes, 2 terabytes).
As the program is a command line tool, it will be necessary to extract fat32format to a directory where it can be run from the command prompt.
The specific reason why this tool was created was because Windows 98's format tool was unable to create FAT32 partitions larger than 137GB; fat32format works around this limitation.
FAT32format is licensed as Freeware for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system / platform from hard drive formatters without restrictions. FAT32format 1.07 is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
Compatibility with this format partition software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from RidgeCrop.
We have tested FAT32format 1.07 against malware with several different programs. We certify that this program is clean of viruses, malware and trojans. [Read more]
